Brief history of Killrudder:

Killruddery is a living, working House, Gardens and Farm. It has been home to sixteen generations of the Brabazon family and over the centuries many other families have joined this special place as a home and in employment.

The gardens at Killruddery are of outstanding importance as they are among the very few remaining 17th Century gardens in these islands. The gardens were used for the entertainment of a large number of guests and therefore the scale is comparable to that of a park.

To mention a few stalls:
Alberto’s Gold import the finest Spanish products direct from the producers. They have a selection of cold meats, ibericos, acorn feed, raw honeys and self produced organic olive oil.
An Tairseach Organic Farm offer fresh organic produce direct from their farm in Wicklow town at the market each week. They have a wide range of in season fruit and vegetables as well as some organic pork and bacon.
The Birds and the Tea’s are giving old fashioned relishes, chutneys and teatime favourites a modern twist. They do everything they can to invoke memories of your grandmother’s kitchen while exciting your tastebuds at the same time.
